Artist Basia Zielinska invited participants to her studio to create their own floral painting. In this workshop participants were taught how to make an interesting, layered background, using Basia’s special “wipe back” method of “finding shapes.” Basia talked briefly about the colour wheel and recommended colour palettes which work well together. She demonstrated a range of mark-making with some participants creating their own visual handwriting.
