Discover the art of collage in a fun and welcoming workshop led by exhibiting artist Magda Myszkowski.
This creative session is open to all ages – no experience needed! You’ll learn the basics of collage while expressing your inner artist through colours, textures, and patterns inspired by Polish heritage.
What to Expect:
– 2 hours of hands-on collage making
– Create a personal family portrait set in the landscape of Poland
– Learn to cut, layer, and compose with confidence
– Explore your identity and empower your creative voice
What to Bring:
– A printed photo of you and your family (copies only – we’ll be cutting them up!)
You’ll leave with a meaningful artwork and a relaxed, inspired spirit ready to continue your creative journey.
This workshop is FREE! Registrations are essential as there are limited seats available.

ARTIST FACILITATOR
Magda Myszkowski
Magda is passionate about art, finding deep healing and nurturing through her creative process.
She collaborates with people of all ages and abilities, using art as a tool for fun and therapy. Her vibrant woven pieces are quirky, colourful and optimistic, drawing inspiration from her Polish heritage and folk traditions, navigating thoughts on identity and cultural connections.
With over 20 years of experience as an interior designer, Magda specialises in projects with social impact, such as designing for people living with dementia and creating educational spaces for students with special needs. Her evidence-based approach ensures her designs create meaningful, responsive environments where people feel valued and inspired.
In recent years, Magda has shifted her formal design expertise into hands-on creation with weaving and collage. These works experiment with composition, layering colour and texture to explore her emotions and experiences. Through tactile materials like paper, raffia and yarn, Magda weaves together images and memories, creating a meditative process that brings balance and joy to her everyday life.
By uniting her life experiences with her heritage and identity, Magda’s experimental style creates a vivid tapestry of her journey.
